I have heard this statement countless time during my work with individuals.  Let me help you out.  YOU ARE AFRAID.  Stop and think for a few minutes.  Write down your primary anxiety.  After that, make a list not of how you feel (jittery, heart palpitations, sweaty, etc.) but instead, the thoughts that accompany those feelings.  Start the list by stating, "I think...." and fill in the blank.  You will without doubt, find you are fearful of things and as a result feel a particular way and experience known anxiety symptoms.
